Andrew Stech joined the UFARM/People’s Company team in 2014 where he has focused on Land Management in Nebraska & South Dakota. Andrew’s passion for agriculture that runs deep. He grew up on a family farm consisting of livestock & row crops near Osmond, Nebraska. Andrew works out of the Norfolk, Nebraska office.

Andrew is constantly striving to be up-to-date on the latest land & commodity market news. Since he is from a family farm operation, he knows firsthand what it takes to run a farm operation and how to manage the world’s most precious resources, land and water.

Focused on providing a grounded and practical approach to land management, Andrew firmly believes in the principles of sustainability and the importance of strong relationships in agriculture. His ability to connect with farmers and communicate effectively with landowners allows him to understand their unique challenges. By building trust and maintaining open communication, Andrew

LAND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Manage and oversee farm and ranch operations to meet landowner goals
Develop annual budgets, business plans, and financial reports
Monitor crop performance, soil health, and conservation practices
Coordinate with tenants, operators, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
Negotiate and manage lease agreements for farmland, pasture, and hunting rights
Stay current on commodity markets and USDA programs to advise landowners
Cost share utilization and implementation
Implement and oversee capital improvements and infrastructure projects
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agricultural regulations
Promote sustainable farming practices and long-term land stewardship
Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reporting to landowners
Build and manage strong relationships with landowners and tenants to align interests and maintain clear communication
