BIO
Emily Oberbroeckling, ARA, is a Certified General Real Property Appraiser with over 15 years of experience in agricultural real estate and farmland valuation across the United States. As part of Peoples Company’s national appraisal team, Emily provides appraisal and consulting services for farmland, livestock operations, agribusinesses, and rural properties throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and other states.
Raised on a family dairy farm in Northeast Iowa, Emily brings a deep respect for agricultural land and the people who work with it. Her expertise spans unimproved agricultural land to more complex rural property types, including dairy, beef, and swine facilities, grain operations, and multi-tract land portfolios, as well as statewide market studies and valuation consulting for families, trusts, estates, banks, investment portfolios, and government agencies.
Emily earned her Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) in 2024 and served on the Iowa Chapter Executive Board (2021–2024). She remains an active ASFMRA member, currently serving on the National Membership Committee. She is also an FAA-licensed drone pilot and holds her Iowa Real Estate License.
As a landowner and active participant in her family’s farming and trucking businesses, Emily embodies the connection between land, legacy, and leadership that drives her work — bridging traditional agricultural values with modern valuation methods and data-driven insights.
