Peoples Company Acres Sold Increases 39% Year Over Year And Sales Volume Is Up 31%

The numbers are in and it’s a seller’s market. Peoples Company’s year-to-date sales reveal a strengthening seller’s market. Through the first 6 months of 2017, we’ve seen fewer open market transactions but an increase in off-market properties being brokered by our associates. From January to July of this year, Peoples Company’s sales volume increased nearly 31% and we’ve sold 39% more acres than the same period in 2016.

With a growing number of buyers, demand for quality, tillable land has outpaced supply. This has made it more challenging to find suitable properties for buyers.
