Weekly Auction Results: 3/20/22–3/26/22

The appraisal team tracked 22 auctions in Iowa last week, totalling 2,160 acres.  These tracts brought an average dollar per acre of $12,953, average dollar per tillable acre of $14,481 and an average dollar per CSR2 of $180.  This price is down 4% from the prior week, while still up 6% from Q4 2021.  

The top sale of the week went to a Linn County cropland farm of 35.8 acres bringing $26,250 per acre or $292 per CSR2.  This farm was near Cedar Rapids, but the highest and best use is still considered agriculture.
